Cheaper accommodation is already hard to find, big weekend in Sunny Goulburn.
Get your entries in and accommodation sorted ASAP.

Just my 2 cents worth, so its $400 to enter early plus the carport = $520. Then there is accommodation. If your a late entry like I'm likely to be then its another $50 making it $570.

BUT if I decide to do an MRA round (one day event) at WP its only $320 inc carport and no accommodation. Still good racing with 30 plus cars and 3 races with about 20 laps plus qualifying.

Hmm...

I'll be in Canada for this round but accommodation for the earlier round was $89 for 2 people. The $44.50 was less than the Saturday night drink's bill

Seems like a much better option, why do we get so ripped for the cams event then? Seems a little hard to justify.

So 1k for the weekend, if you are in NSW you could do the nationals for less than 2k including fuel, accom, meals and a Blair sized drinking budget, and it would be way cheaper per lap

($1500 without drinks)
Contrary to popular opinion, I do have mechanical sympathy, I always feel sorry for the cars I drive.

Travel from NSW is 1200km x 20l/100 diesel at $1.45/l = $696 round trip. +$895 entry =$1591. Think your maths is a bit off

Edit - not dissing the Nationals, just pointing it out

MRA is only $280 with a carport, so even better. 15 min qual and the last round we has 8/10/12 lap races

Find me a tow vehicle that tows 3500kg at 110 for less fuel and I'll buy it.

VW Amarok. You want Euro - not Jap.
My Renault Trafic tows all my stuff at an average of 10-11 lt/100. Note - I max out at 104, saves heaps.

So who is going to the final NSW round for the year?

Anyone from interstate crossing borders?

Be great to see some of the NSW entries we have seen during the year, and last year, return for the the final round!

I'm with you Dave, use motors from people who understand modern Diesels
GLE 350, Melb to gold Coast inland empty trailer 9.8l/100, back on the coast road with a car on, including driving through Sydney and in to a storm with serious head winds 11.0 (was bellow 11 before the storm) That is cruise control set just above the limit and with 700mn... it doesn't slow down for the hills

If the question is regarding combined or separate grids, it will be separate grids as it's too risky to combine grids at Wakefield.
If the question is regarding one day or two days, we haven't paired with anyone, so it's two days. We could pair U2L with O2L but the general consensus was most didn't like the idea of running IP on different days.

We requested 4 races, qualy and 2 races Saturday and 2 races Sunday. There is a new guy in charge so I don't believe that what we are going to get has been advised, yet.
