I used to own one fo the B&H cars and toyed with doing that colour scheme as well but have decided against it, will look pretty good in the scheme I have decided on. Give it a week or s...

WANTED: Honda DC2R or EG/EK Civic

Looking for a decent DC2R or EG/EK Civic to build up for IPRA. Mainly concerned with chassis and roll cage, less concerned about running gear but interested in any solid package out there. PM or post if any leads please.

Thanks guys..

That's why you mount it on the firewall, "sudden deceleration events" just push it harder into the velcro.

Just thinking out loud... There are plenty of different options for sliding scales restrictor size vs. Engine size or Weight or drive type or Tyre Width or Even combinations of the above Finding something that's fair will not be easy and finding something that the majority agrees on may be even mor...

Re: Importance of a good cage

Alloy cages should have already been phased out. There is nothing worth letting people run around in alloy cages. A case of good luck not good management and if that was a drivers side hit, it would be a very different outcome

Re: Time attack live stream

Easier = more expensive? No, just different expensive and much easier from a frustration point of view. Especially with the gearbox!! Managed to get an off the shelf box to fit a Honda K20/24 that handles 700+hp and 10,000rpm running 295 super soft A050's and serious downforce. Its all about ...

Re: New Cars for 2016

So a guy who runs an 1850kg LMT car must find the budget for a new set of tyres for each heat mikrace? That's exactly what your recommended rule on wheel sizes would do. We are not supposed to be a mega budget class but that kind of thinking has and will keep pushing the costs up. We must think of ...

Tilton topped the time sheets with a 1:23.777 as fastest car and fastest AWD MCA was fastest RWD and 2nd overall at 1:25.371 Quickest FWD was a 1:29.517 from the 101 Motorsport CRX. My FWD car managed a 1:36 while still shaking down the car but we lost an engine thanks to a non-engine component fail...

Re: New Cars for 2016

Why haven't you two mentioned that it wouldn't matter anyway due to no gearbox on this planet could ever sustain the torque and power of a fully developed 4wd restricted turbo LM when it has to carry all that fat car around??? Did you miss this part: Yeah but if you run the 2 x 27mm on a 2.0Lt Libe...

As many kgs as it takes to make it safe as possible. These minimalist and aluminium EMT cages are the stuff of nightmares. Imagine an aluminium cage in an accident like Mosterts!!!

Re: New Cars for 2016

Yeah but if you run the 2 x 27mm on a 2.0Lt Liberty like the B4 which had a twin turbo setup then you get more RPM and a torque curve that is more like a standard car rather than everything being under 3000rpms
