Re: 2017 Nationals WA Oct 21-22 2017

Callegari passed under safety car, I’m sure it wasn’t on purpose he’s a clean racer and good guy Disqualification is pretty harsh, a +5 or +10 seconds is more common for a genuine "missed seeing one flag" incident in the heat of battle. :? Cheers Gary I thought the same Gary, but the drivers were w...

Re: this is why restrictors are hurting IPRA!

For example (Simplified version) : 1100kg minimum weight = 8.5" rim with 40% aspect ratio tyre and 3600cc effective capacity 1250kg minimum weight = 9.5" rim with 35% aspect ratio tyre...

Re: this is why restrictors are hurting IPRA!

Who would spend over 50k on a 1200 coupe..well I did, well and truly. (Gary perhaps you should be nicer about my racing leaf suspension.) I unfortunately kept all receipts for the whole build and it was well more than 50k... BOP wont work if you removed restrictors. Imagine how much weight my 1200 ...

Re: IPRANSW Round 3 2017 - SMSP Long Circuit

There are interesting arguments both for and against combining. It's hard to deny the success of under 2L in NSW though. You would have to say, that the split grid over many years, has been a significant factor in its success. By the same token, if there are not enough Over 2L cars, combined grids w...

Re: New Cars for 2017

Quick update, I’ve spoken to the dentist and he reports that the flywheel is getting its teeth machined, right now in fact. Should be finished some time during the night, ready for me to pick up in the morning. Then we will bolt it up, cross fingers it all fits, then stick the engine and gearbox in...

Re: Motorsport - are we doing it wrong?

I will say Paul, one of the attractions of the brake set-up I have pulled together for my car was a lighter rotor (it's 2mm thinner than the comparable evo rotor that most people run in my type of car) Weight remova...
