I am of the understanding that SA dates are still to be approved by State council, hence no announcements as yet.

I noticed a huge spread in time in other classes as well, so driver seems to make a difference (and practice)

Re: IPRANSW Rd6 Wakefield Park 8/9th Sept 2018

[quote="zossy1"] 1. Doing video at a race meeting is not easy or fun. How and why RevHead Pete keeps doing this has got me - he must really, really love racing and love the category. Don’t get me wrong, so do I - but walking around the pits with a camera, tripod and mic all day (possibly all weekend...

Re: Phillip island garage info

You can also try get a shed in the green or south paddock (same place), they are still full lock up with power and about 1 1/2 cars, (2 small cars can just squeeze in at night, but no working room) I actually prefer them, the main pit area is just too busy... you know Porsche 911 "tow cars" and all ...

Great to see!
We can't afford full "live action" coverage, but this type of thing (and ours) gives more voice to the IPRA community as a whole, that is never a bad thing :)

Re: IPRANSW Rd6 Wakefield Park 8/9th Sept 2018

So 1k for the weekend, if you are in NSW you could do the nationals for less than 2k including fuel, accom, meals and a Blair sized drinking budget, and it would be way cheaper per lap ($1500 without drinks) Travel from NSW is 1200km x 20l/100 diesel at $1.45/l = $696 round trip. +$895 entry =$1591...

My 5 cents worth I’m more than happy for combined grids for heats Then separate unders and overs finals Yes, good idea, and ask the people who have bothered to enter about these options, no use pandering to people who aren't going to be there anyway Especially important if IPRASA could get 10 more ...

Helps show what a great package SA have put together for the Nationals
If you haven't been to a Nationals you get so much track time it simply can't be compared to any other round

Yes
Rob owned it, had the Calder and Winton lap records (which he did take I found out after I posted), Phil built it, John also drove it when Phil was running the FJ24

U2L Datsun 1600

Nothing to do with me, but this is a fast car for the money, times were on 48's, and at the time were about 0.4sec from the PI track record. It held the Sandown record and still holds Calder long and short. (I think it also held Winton, bit can't be sure, that could have been the Randle 1600, which ...
