Question, with rd4 being a non-CAMS promoted round, will we require to have AASA log books or anything else unique we need to prepare for?
We run with MRA who use AASA for our APRA meetings and you can use your CAMS logbook and licence. They don't discriminate :)

Re: New cars for 2019

Just to add further confusion, if that's possible, according to an old Ford car salesman friend of mine not all ST24's were sold as "ST24's", some were sold as "XR's". Which doesn't matter, as they are both V6 MK2 Mondeos. XR (XR5 actually) badged Mondeos were turbo 5cyl (same engine as Focus) and ...

Re: Claiming racing costs

I claim all my racing expenses. Entries/membership/practice I put through as advertising. All other running costs I just put through as vehicle expenses. I don't do any other form of advertising (paid) and due to the nature of my business (Signs) and the fact a large portion of my work is involving ...

Re: IPRANSW Rd6 Wakefield Park 8/9th Sept 2018

So 1k for the weekend, if you are in NSW you could do the nationals for less than 2k including fuel, accom, meals and a Blair sized drinking budget, and it would be way cheaper per lap ($1500 without drinks) Travel from NSW is 1200km x 20l/100 diesel at $1.45/l = $696 round trip. +$895 entry =$1591...

Re: IPRANSW Rd6 Wakefield Park 8/9th Sept 2018

Just my 2 cents worth, so its $400 to enter early plus the carport = $520. Then there is accommodation. If your a late entry like I'm likely to be then its another $50 making it $570. BUT if I decide to do an MRA round (one day event) at WP its only $320 inc carport and no accommodation. Still good...

Re: IPRANSW Rd5 Wakefield Park 21/22nd July 2018

I think another interesting point is the growing number of stat write offs becoming available and the cost effectiveness at which they can be used for motorsport. Turbo cars are very common, and as such can have the basics added and simply start tracks days or racing. Notice in the Prod Touring cla...

. Additionally, there may be"wrecker" engined cars in unders that go well enough to get a race, but if it was as attractive as it is suggested then where are all the Pulsar series cars and Excels? Why don't they put on A050's and add to the mid and tail packs? ... Going off the weekends U2l trophy ...

6 cars in the final for Overs, 13 in Unders. Is it just no-one wants to go to Wakefield in winter because it's so bloody cold ? Had nothing much on today so thought about driving down for a look, got up and it was minus 8 or something in Goulburn at 6.30 ! Re: IPRANSW Round 2 2018 SMSP 28-29 April

I'm trying/hoping to get ready. Have to get on top of the compression issues preventing car from starting (unless I oil up the housings to build compression) since the rebuild. Engine is on it's way out. We shall see. Stuck apex seal maybe? Take plugs out and turn by hand and have a look at the ape...
