Re: What's Hapenning with the U1600 Class?
Nobody should ridicule what another man wants to race. If it is their passion, who are we to judge. After all, if it means more cars on the track, and more variety - then all the better. It's not all about winning.

Re: IPRANSW Rnd 1 SMSP April 6/7th 2019 - entries open
As far as o2L entries for rd2 goes.. well it is probably a few different reasons for everyone. Some people just don't like racing at WP. Maybe we only got so many at SMSP due to the COmbined Grid? Personally I have trouble finding the time and money to race every round and usually make 2 to 3 a yea...

Re: New cars for 2019
Maybe, Garry you should stick to the facts. 2016 - First Cosmo proposal was not put up by me, it was a South Australian proposal that was brushed under the table, and I just moved it from under the table. As for the vote by members in 2016, it went down by 4 states (no) to 3 states (yes). One of tho...

Re: New cars for 2019
Yes, I did put it through Cams, as that is what the Cams manual instructs me to do. It's a pity you, Garry, don't follow rules as I. After Cams sent it back to IPRA, it should have been discussed by all state delegates, I know for a fact, this was not done. And even the delegates you might have spok...

Re: New cars for 2019
The process for having a car added to “The List” is quite onerous with one of the requirements being more than 200 vehicles imported/sold. Hence why it contains the popular “grey imports” which have the numbers but aren’t automatically included because they weren’t sold here by the manufacturer (or...

Re: IP is back at Bathurst
Dave.... when you were in business I'm sure you got paid for your work and made a profit so you could continue to trade... why do you think others should not be able to do the same.... with promoters making a profit they can continue to provide events races etc etc....no one would win and we would ...

Re: IP is back at Bathurst
...... and it may also be worth a mention that the NSW prodsports are charging $4400 for GT cars to run in their 2 x one hours races at the same event that Excels and IPRA charging less , all be it for a bit less track time. GM And I would happily pay $4,400.00 as long as I knew that someone wasn't...

Re: Ipra secrets
Why is everything in IP such a great secret? Can’t get a calendar until the great reveal, even though other categories release theirs so much earlier. Why can the normal member not know what is going to be discussed at delegates meetings or have to wait months to find out what was discussed. Why do...

Thanks IPRASA committee for a great meeting. Special thanks to Simon, can't believe how much that guy was doing. Amazing!! 60 year old wins Under 2L in a rotary and doesn't break a sweat. Lap times were amazing.... AWESOME JOB WALDO! Cheers. I would like to publicly thank Simon O'Dell Fontana (Left...

Re: 2018 Aldinga Towing IPRA Nationals @ The Bend
Some racing notes, based on what I saw and what I remember (ie; could be wrong) plus a little help from Natsoft; U2L With enough cars to run in every heat there was no mixing of grids in U2L. It was good to the see the variety of makes and models in the 27 car field that lined up for Qualifying, in...

Re: IPRANSW Rd6 Wakefield Park 8/9th Sept 2018
So 1k for the weekend, if you are in NSW you could do the nationals for less than 2k including fuel, accom, meals and a Blair sized drinking budget, and it would be way cheaper per lap ($1500 without drinks) Travel from NSW is 1200km x 20l/100 diesel at $1.45/l = $696 round trip. +$895 entry =$1591...

Re: Production Cars and IP in the CAMS Scheme
Remove the "R" word from IP, Get all those cars running in other classes and events into IP with a Boost limit. Tyre costs are also out of control, Yes I know this is a tough one. I agree with Steve. Boost limits will give more reliability to turbo cars. Tyre's - AO50 is a great tyre, and has stopp...
