Hope everyone has made it to Bathurst safe and well, all the cars are unloaded and a refreshing beverage near by...

Have fun everyone. Good luck and keep it off the concrete!

Super jelly at you all!!!!!!! Even the crew and spectators.

On the 2017 12hr site - http://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/

The sector times are interesting... Jordan is 3 seconds faster than anyone across the top!!!! And 2:28 is so freaking quick for u2L...

Looks like we may see a Hislop vs Cherry race too!

Lets ban all LMV8's and LMT's as it is embarrassing when a LM Under 2 Litre Honda beats all bar one.

Well done JORDAN COX, 2nd place outright. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Contrary to popular opinion, I do have mechanical sympathy, I always feel sorry for the cars I drive.

Several cars had issues in the quali session. According to the trackside commentary, Naguib and Jukes suffered terminal engine issues. Macca had some kind of flywheel issue...?

In Race 1, Cherry held Ray early, but was falling behind in the latter stages. A few laps from home, he stopped on the exit of hell corner with some kind of problem. Apart from Ray, he was the only one who was actually faster than Jordan and could have beaten him in the track.

Milano had some kind of terminal problem which saw him pull it off the track late in the race.

In addition to Cherry and Milano, there were several other mechanical DNFs during race 1, which was red flagged on the last lap after an accident on top of the mountain.

Jordan's drive was amazing and the whole crowd in the bar were cheering and hooting for him. Well done guys, that car, and the way it was driven, was something amazing to watch.

And Ray cracked into the 2:19s too... Great to see!

I also saw Chris Thomas had an issue in the Combined Sedans race... looks like the car suffered a terminal stoppage heading up the mountain. I hope it's not too serious...

Chris went home and replaced the engine. He should be back there this morning.
