That happens when the faster ones don't get "invited".
Oh well, much better to be shown up by an LM U2L car than an LM V8

Would have been great to have seen some of the quick LM v8's be allowed to come out to play but unlikely in sa.

Think the ones that are lucky enough to be there are putting on a great show , by all accounts. Its hard to fit 70 odd cars into a 32 car grid some will just not get in and SA had a very tuff job trimming it down, so I think we should all be thanking the SA boys for getting IP on at Clipsal first of all..
Its great see some LM cars fighting it out with EM rockets and Jordon is keeping them all on their toes.... Bring on race 3

Avoiding confrontation with scrutineers that don't know the IP regs.

Because cams ruled that it was not ok.
A CAMS Tribunal ruled that "it" was OK in 2014.
It's an aftermarket bumper, totally legal in 3J(b).

But let's not bring this thread about clipsal down. The event is kicking some serious goals over here.
Not bringing it down, was just asking a question, was awesome racing and looking forward to racing Jordan at the Bathurst 6hr, we are both the only competitors for Class E, Jordan in the Nissan Pulsar N15 and I will be in the Eunos 30X

Great show, well done to the IPRA SA team...
Looks like Jordan had an issue in the last race as he slowed dramatically on the last lap but still came home 5th. What a giant killer !

Great event but I do think a few more Late V8s should have been included not there a large part of IP

Good to see the turbo cars up the front. I think track design would suit the turbo stuff due to its stop start design where torque and drive is important and no super long straights.
Would love to do this event one day in any category.
Big shout out to ex IP racer Peter Major for winning the second GT Race

I can only think of 2, Ben Schoots and Grant Maitland, that's from memory, so always risky.

Yeah but as a spectacle and to make an impression expecially being a new category there its not a good thing if ray was to slate the field by 20 seconds...
