It's OK. Apparently there is no more rain in the sky.

With the ride height test failures at Eastern Creek I somehow suspect that the Chief Scrutineer will again be checking 100% of the cars at this meeting.

The best suggestions is to check the ride height with the driver in place and some fuel on board, appropriate tyre pressures and after allowing the car rest for a while after letting it down off the jacks. I’d also allow a few mm for tyre wear and spring settling during the race, it happens.

As I also raised at the following General Meeting, letting a freshly set up car down on the workshop floor and then measuring the ride height is fraught with danger. As is assuming that just because the car was OK last year or even last meeting that it’s automatically OK for this meeting. If you are running your car remotely close to the minimum, be it Ride Height or Racing Weight etc, then I’d be sure to leave some margin for changes on the day and differences in testing equipment, as well as a simple measuring error.

For those that don't have a garage or carport for this weekend.

This info is from Steve Jagger our Sporting Committee Chairman,

"With the large number of entries about 50 competitors will be looking for somewhere to pit in the paddock area. SS are expected to take up the grassed area near the scrutineering bay but more area was needed. After a number of emails to Matt B. he has agreed to rope of an area with bunting on the north side of the road at the north ( turns 1@2 ) side of the carports and ‘b’ block garages. Trailers are normally parked here. Unfortunately he has no one to police it, he says, so I will ask him if he can at least put up some signs."
