Island Magic 2017

Post by mikrace » Thu Oct 05, 2017 2:09 pm

Anybody going to Island Magic that wants a garage buddy? I do have a loud braapy car and mouth though...

I am happy to be out in the weeds but will jump in for a garage share if available.

Still looking...

Does anyone know where to pit at PI when not in a garage / carport? I think i remember a grassed area near the T4 circuit exit road?

Does anyone know where the sound meter is at PI? Just want to try and avoid issues and point the exhaust the right way!

Thanks

I thought was opposite pit lane, towards the start of the straight. Pretty sure I've seen exhausts pointed left (but it's been a while since I saw one)

Left side PI, right side Sandown

Ok..... whatever..... I making it adjustable so will just copy everyone else down there.

Good to see Hislop has entered and some fast locals too.

I can't wait to get back to the Island and have some fun somewhere in the middle of the diverse Vic field :D :D

Yeah, I was saying where the noise meter is, not where to point the exhaust! (that could have been bad)

Thanks for clarifying. I made the exhaust with two positions anyway.

Not long to wait now :) :) :)

Not sure if he is the right person, but I spoke with Geoff Bull last year. He was very helpful.

Geoff Bull from PIARC is very helpful. Where did you get the entry list from?
