Yeah, yeah, yeah V8, blah blah blah
How good is Andrew's effort - 7th at Nationals and Q7 at Bathurst - the car is a jet =D> =D> =D>
Go go Nismo
Good luck to all the boys, wish I could be there to watch Leigh's style in grabbing P2
Bring 'em all back in one piece hey!

You are 100% right Tony and Dec, I think a lot of people under estimate the fact that Ray can drive bloody well and he has probably done double the laps of Bathurst than anyone in the field, it is more than just the car, well engineered as it is.
Contrary to popular opinion, I do have mechanical sympathy, I always feel sorry for the cars I drive.

Great effort by the flaggies at the start and by the back markers not to wear a E46Ti!!!

The real news at Bathurst is not a wishbone front/IRS rear/Windsor powered car with an experienced driver winning.

From my vantage point here in Coburg it's that the second placed 4 cylinder restricted turbo Toyota has thoroughly and consistently kicked the arses of at least 9 LS/308/Gen 2 Chev powered Commodores.

So much for the furphy that the 36 mm restricted turbo cars cannot be competitive against The Big V8's.

Its an early model and weights considerably less than a late model. The argument has always been about lmt

Note to Brian Anderson, I can't wait to see your footage, nice come back through the field... but, if you have rear footage I think it would be scarier than watching Jaws before going for a dip in shark invested waters

Same for Scott Hunter, in the past Dave C has posted up his vids, hope he does it again

I honestly thought Leigh would get swamped up Mountain straight the first time and then be unable to get past the wide powerful V8's, first I thought Millett's bad start gave him room, 2 safety cars showed that it was no fluke
